Services for Terrence Lynn “Fat Daddy” Gilmore, 44, of Temple were Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple with Bishop Lonnie D. Garrett officiating.

Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery in Temple.

He died Saturday, November 8, 2008 in a Temple hospital.

Terrence Gilmore was born October 28, 1964 to Henry and Gurtha Byers in Schwertner. He was raised and educated in Bartlett and Temple. Mr. Gilmore was a local businessman who owned and founded Fat Daddy’s Restaurant. He attended church at the Bibleway Family Worship Center in Marlin.

Survivors include his four sons, Darrius Green of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Dominique Gilmore, Terrence Gilmore and Kevin Gilmore, all of Temple; four daughters, Terrica Gilmore, Teranishia Gilmore, Dineshia Harris and Kynatta Bullard, all of Temple; three brothers, Paul C. King, Henry Gilmore and Albert Gilmore, all of Temple; three sisters, Syvinya Miller, Pamela Outland and Lori Green, all of Temple; his parents of Temple; and two grandchildren.

Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple was in charge of arrangements.
