Graveside services for Sara Walker, 79, of Belton were Wednesday, November 12, 2008 in North Belton Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Davis officiating.
Memorial services were held Thursday, November 13, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Belton.
She died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in a Temple hospital.
Sara Walker was born May 10, 1929 in Bartlett to Elias Samuel Barrett and Minnie Lee Lambert Barrett. She married Buck Walker on February 5, 1974 in Belton. Mrs. Walker was a member of the Madame Alexander Doll Club and First Baptist Church in Belton.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Walker, September 13, 2007.
Survivors include her husband; a son, David Walker of Belton; two daughters, Susan Montgomery and Janie Brown, both of Belton; a brother, Bill Barrett of Houston; a sister, Betty Donaldson of Georgetown; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Belton Organ Fund.
Dossman Funeral Home in Belton was in charge of arrangements.
