Services for George P. Morin, 54, of Davilla were Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rogers with the Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating.

Mr. Morin died Monday, November 10, 2008 in a Temple hospital.

George Morin was born July 24, 1954 in Fall River, Massachusetts to James and Helena Abbott. He attended school in Rogers and served in the U. S. Army. He installed underground telephone cable for Precision Utilities and moved to Davilla from Rogers 13 years ago. He was Catholic.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Morin, of Davilla; four daughters, Dusty Morin of Milano, Crystal Draper of Liberty Hill, Charlotte Ratcliff of Temple and Tiffany Stolp of Rogers; two sons, George P. Morin Jr. of Leander and Brandon Stolp of Davilla; his parents of Rogers; a sister, Martha Coey of Ohio; four brothers, Joey Morin of Austin, J. P. Abbott of Belton, and John Abbott and Robert Abbott, both of Rogers; and 11 grandchildren.

Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple was in charge of arrangements.
