Services for Louis Edward Jones, 51, of Temple were at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ in Bartlett with Nathaniel Davis officiating.

Burial followed in Bartlett City Cemetery.

Mr. Jones died Sunday, October 5, 2008 in a Temple nursing home.

Louis Edward Jones was born October 13, 1956 to Pauline Jones in Bartlett. He was raised and educated in Bartlett and worked for the City of Bartlett. Mr. Jones was a member of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ.

Survivors include two brothers, Leon Powell Jr. and William Powell, both of Temple; and a sister, Jackqueline Kelley, also of Temple.

Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple was in charge of arrangements.
