Services for Georgia K. Pacha Grossman, 80, of Holland will be Monday, December 1, 2008 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Father Don Loftin officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 30, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m., with rosary recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Georgia Grossman was born in Granger to Joseph F. and Julia Tomacek Kaderka on March 13, 1928. She was a member of the Holland SPJST, KJZT and was the first lady elected to the Holland City Council, where she served as mayor pro tem. Mrs. Grossman was recognized in Who’s Who Among American Women.
She was preceded in death by her spouses, Bill I. Pacha and Daniel Grossman; and one great-granddaughter.
Survivors include a son, Bill Pacha of Holland; daughters, Georganna Gommert and Keisha Moore, both of Holland; a sister, Betty Stojanik of Granger; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple was in charge of arrangements.
