Services for Billie Bob Stewart, 78, of Little River-Academy will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with the Rev. Judy Gotcher officiating.
Burial will be in Wilson Valley Cemetery.
He died Sunday, October 26, 2008 in a Temple hospital.
Billie Bob Stewart was born in Wilson Valley to Walter A. Stewart Sr. and Mary V. Wilson Stewart. He lived there all his life and married Vivian Gay on Dec. 31, 1949. Mr. Stewart worked for Coca-Cola as the refrigeration department manager. He was a captain in the National Guard and was a member of Little River United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; and a brother, Walter A. Stewart Jr. of Little River-Academy.
Memorials may be made to Little River United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 578, Little River-Academy 76554; or to First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 102 N. 2nd Street, Temple, Texas 76501.
